MA-372 and MA-373 units with emissivity fixed at 0.95 are suitable for most construction materials. MA-381 and MA-383 adjustable emissivity models can be fine-tuned to different materials and surfaces for increased accuracy. D:S is the ratio between the distance to the target and the diameter of the measuring spot. The greater the D:S value, the better the resolution is and the smaller the target can be. Temperatures are obtained from the exposed surfaces of materials targeted. Useful distances for these models range from 3-35ft (1-10.5m). The laser spotting feature enables easy spotting of target surface. All models feature automatic data hold, temperature resolution of 0.1°C or °F up to 199.9°C and CE Mark. Units are powered by two AAA batteries (included) for up to 130 hours of operation. Accuracy is rated at ±2%, and all units are factory calibrated on NIST traceable equipment. Soft carrying cases are available as an option.

MA-372 has selectable °F or °C temperature units, laser pointing and a 12:1 D:S ratio. Emissivity is preset at 0.95. Est. Ship Wt.: 2lb (1kg).

MA-373 and MA-381 have programmable high and low temperature alarms with audible alerts and accept Type K Thermocouple Probes for dual readings. MA-381 has a D:S ratio of 20:1 and wider temperature range. These models also offer max., min., dif. and avg. temperature readings and adjustable emissivity.
