Gilson Concrete Slump Cones are heavy-gauge, seamless, plated-steel construction. HM-45 has 8" (203mm) base, 4" (102mm) opening, and 12" (305mm) height to meet ASTM C-143 and AASHTO T119 requirements. HM-45M Metric Slump Cone has 200mm base, 100mm opening and 300mm height, meeting the requirements of ASTM C143M and BS-1881. Handles and foot pieces are welded securely to the cone. Two sets are offered, or order components separately.
HM-40 Cone, Base & Rod Set includes a cast aluminum base plate and plated 5/8" (16mm) diam. x 24"L (610mm) tamping rod in addition to slump cone. Clamps on base hold foot pieces of cone tight for filling and rodding. After cone is removed, handle raises over specimen; and slump is measured. Set components mount in compact fashion for easy carrying.
HM-41 Slump Test Set includes cone, mixing pan, tamping rod, trowel, and wire brush. Pan is 24" square and 2" deep (610x610x51mm) and made of fiberglass reinforced plastic. It is lightweight, yet durable for concrete mixing. If galvanized pan is preferred, order 24x24x3" (610x610x76mm) Model SC-4. Trowel has pointed flat steel blade with wooden handle.
Add HM-53 Filling Funnel and TSA-187 large Aluminum Scoop to either slump set for ease of filling cone with concrete. Funnel is sturdy seamless aluminum with rolled top edge. Smaller TSA-186 scoop is sized for direct filling of cones. Order HM-47 12x3/8" diam. Rod for use with 4x8" molds.
